Nicki Lampon BSc (Hons) MRNZ

Hi! My name is Nicki Lampon. I was born in Britain but moved to New Zealand to be near family. After a few years living in Auckland, and a few more back in the UK, we finally settled in Hawke's Bay in 2015.

I am fully insured and a full member of Reflexology New Zealand.

Training

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology from the London School of Reflexology. This is recognised worldwide and is one of the highest reflexology qualifications available in the UK.

I've also done further training in Facial Reflexology, Maternity and Fertility Reflexology, Hot Stone Reflexology, and Vertical Reflex Therapy. In addition, I'm currently one of the few reflexologists in New Zealand trained in Reflexology Lymph Drainage.

Background

I initially studied medicine at St George's Hospital Medical School in London before transferring to an anthropology course to get a degree in Life Sciences. I then worked in medical publishing as an editor for many years. However, my interest in helping others never faded and I decided to pursue a career in reflexology, looking at health from the holistic point of view.

I became seriously interested in reflexology while suffering with sinusitis. Antibiotics, surgery, and high levels of painkillers had little effect, and I was in chronic pain. Having done a reflexology taster class a few years before, and been very impressed with the tutor who immediately picked up my 'crunchy' sinuses, I decided to try a proper treatment. It worked! I am happy to say that regular treatments keep my sinusitis and headaches at bay and seem to have cured my asthma and hay fever!

Because of my background I have a good understanding of the human body and illnesses, and of how how we can dramatically affect our own health by diet, exercise and learning to relax.
